Took the kids out and hammered the brookies in Bakers Pond in Brookfield, fished the Winooski in Waterbury and caught and released several bows over 3 lbs ...Mepps and roostertails doing most of the hooking. Walleyes are being more cooperative in the Lamoile after a slow opening weekend some bigguns starting to hit! Got to try to get up to the big lake and try for some of the salmon that are still banging lures on the top .just got the hitch on the car ,the boat and trailer reregestered now for the magical and rare good weather and open day to get up there and give it a shot! http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-dancin-red.gif http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-dancin-red.gif http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley_in_boat.gif

Good luck with the salmon fishing. And I know what you mean about magical and rare good weather - I've been salmon fishing three times this year on Winnipasaukee in NH all in a drenching rain.

Oh well - still better than a day at work.
