Almost strictly Republican, because their views more closely mirror mine. I have voted for Democrats twice, one was a judge, the other a mayor and former Firefighter whose values were moreso Right-winged than the Republican he was running against. Sometimes it's hard to get those union guys to change. My votes keeps my guns in my hands, babies alive, criminals punished, and our military built up!!!

I'm sure I've voted for a democrat in my lifetime. But don't ask me to remember who it was.

The only democrat I have ever voted for was a family friend running for judge in the last election... I have, however, voted AGAINST a lot of them.... http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-wnk-yellow.gif

When I lived in New York State I changed my registration to the Conservative Party,in one major election the Conservative party earned the # 3 spot on the ballot.I voted for conservative Democrats & Republicans as I and many others were tired of the limp liberal give it all away members of both of the major parties.I was working as a probation officer and the family court judge called me in for a conference after court regarding the conservative party registration. After explaining my reasons he opened his bar and offered me a bottle of beer and we chatted.I got along great with our family court judge, one lunch hour we all went to Gus's German Restaurant and Judge Murphy bought the mugs of german beer,I drove back to the office in an inebriated condition and when the director saw me he started to go ballistic until I told him to call his boss Judge Murphy then it was peace and tranquility in the office.

I voted Libertarian- I LOVE the ideals of the overall foundation of principals that this very nation was founded on.

Is it feasable in todays world? not likely http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbs-down-little.gif The main reason is http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-hitting-self.gif yup- Money $$$'s http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-devil.gif

So my ballot mostly goes into the Republican Party. Both the left and the right have swung SOO far south into the pit of "eternal damnation" in the last 20 years.

At least the Republican can grab for the rope first- (If it comes in our lifetime.) http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/two-cents.gif

I like to think for myself, so I claim no party. To say only this or that party is right all the time is ignorant. Unfortunatly due to a lack of anything else, I tend to vote for the Republican candidates. I voted for Bush in the last election, but only because I was voting against Kerry. Both parties make me want to puke. I sure wish a 3rd party would come along that stood for what I believe in.

Too bad there isn't a modern day Teddy Roosevelt!

I vote Republican because the party comes closest to my views--economically. Don't believe morality should be legislated, voted on and changed according to whose party owns the White House every 4 years. http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/two-cents.gif

Know this poll is "young", but expected to see a couple of Independents already. Would like to see a strong 3rd party that more closely reflects my viewpoint.

I'm a union guy and I vote republican because most dem's try to appeal to the left wing hippie tree huggin animal lovers!

Although there are a few old time southern" comcervative" Dems that I have voted for.

I am Libraterian at heart. I love the idea of having almost all goverment abolished. I just can't bring myself to vote for them. I can't stand the fact they would allow abortion on demand and legalizeing drugs.

I voted Republican in this poll, but can I change it? After looking at some of the other threads I decided I want to start another party. We'll call it the "Snopes" Party. We'll always tell the truth and provide the real story when the media places it's spin on information. There'll be a "Snoper" in every home. There'll be a nightly "Snopes Report". Call-in talk shows. I can see it all coming together.

Vote Snopes!

What does Snopes say about the Water Buffalo Party (WBP)?

...Heard they have real old time conservative values and a couple of guys named Fred and Barney leading it... http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-patriotic-flagwaver-ani.gif

To claim that someone is ignorant is a very strong words.. Just because I claim that I am a Republican by no means do I think that they are always right.. I just do not see anything wrong with claiming a party affiliation. Besides, 9 times out of 10 I will vote for the Republican Party anyways so why not just claim them???

Grand Ole Party for me...although, I am not a party robot about it. I vote for the most conservative candidate in most cases.

I'm a Republican, but there are a few things that I am not in agreement with. It's the party that most "fits" my views and outlook in life. You'll never find a party that fits 100%.
