Jim Jeffords goes Independant

I was just wondering what you guys thought about Senator Jim Jeffords going from Republican to Independant? I think it is a disgrace and I hope nobody ever votes for him again. People voted for him to represent them as a Republican and he let them down. By changing his party after he has been elected he has changed the balance of power that will influence the laws that are made in the whole country. The Senate majority will now be Democratic and all the committee Chairmen will change to Democratic. ### ### ### ### ### ### ### ### Fubar

I think the guy is a jerk. ###Typical politician, given a commission by the people who elected him and he turns around and screws them. ###Hopefully his actions will amount to professional suicide. ###I mean, what person in their right mind would ever vote for this knucklehead again?

Does Jeffords hunt? I doubt it. I hear he has been instructed in karate or something. If that's the case he isn't mentally tough. A follower not a leader.

Nothing will happen to Jeffords in his home state of Vermont. People just don't give a damn anymore.

Hey, when a politician can dump his car off a bridge then run to his attorney before reporting the "accident", all the while leaving a young lady to drown, and still be re-elected time after time, somethings really wrong with politics in this country - remember little Teddy boy, the boozer.

It's my understanding Vermont is being taken over by people fleeing from New York to escape the crime and they're changing the political landscape to New York style.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the Republicans attempting to convince some of the weak Demorats to jump party and join them.

The promise of a ###committee chairmanship here or there - ya never know.........

When I was a young lad and would hear my dad say, "Dad gum politicians!!!", I didn't understand what he meant. After I becoming somewhat of an adult watching the political scene - I understand!!!
