Tripod for camcorder

I want a good tripod for videoing my hunting trips. I wanted a lightweight pod with a floating head. I'm looking at Bogen tripods but they have so many models, it's confusing. Any help would be appreciated.

Here's a setup I am fixen to buy. I already use this head on my tree arm and it works great for smaller cams. I just bought a larger camera but this head is supposed to handle the weight. I compare this tripod to the high dollar carbon ones and it doesn't weigh but a little more. Not enough to make up the difference in price. I am ordering the legs this week and will let you know how it works.

I may end up buying the Bogen 501 head if this one is too small for my camera.
