I don't know squat about Wyo moose in terms of how many points it takes to usually draw in a decent unit for bull. The only moose spot/hunt I know of is in Region G. Wondering whether there's better huntin' elsewhere that's worth holding out for.
I'll have 4 points after this year so I'm thinking I might as well try to do a deer or elk hunt in the same unit before I put in for the moose there to get familiar with the country.

Researching it for a while now myself and will have 6 points after this year......Just depends on where you want to hunt and if it's guided or un-guided. Private property is a big issue, but not so much in the South/West corner. More Wolfs and Bears the farther North you go, but bigger Bulls.......... http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-wave-hello-yellow.gif
There isn't any better way of figuring out where to moose hunt than to get out there and look around. If you elk or deer hunt an area with moose you are half way home! Have you seen any moose on your other hunting trips that you would be happy with? If not, try somewhere else!
