Self Guided Waterfowl

A group of 4-6 guys I hunt with are talking about going to SK to hunt ducks/ geese next fall- We have boucou goose /duck field and water dekes- boats- etc. I've hunted MB a few times. We hunt fields and water quite a bit -I'n retired and 3 others have jobs that allow them to hunt 4-5 days a week during our season so we have some experience betwixt us.
That said we would like say a 4-5 day hunt -self guided and have been looking at the Big/ Little Quill Lake area. Any suggestions or info gratefully accepted.

widux, did you see my post in the Bear section, let me know when you are comming I may be able to help pinpoint some areas for you. On the prairies water is always the crucial factor as where to hunt.

Brent- I'd like to visit with you by PM re hunitng in your area- i have been across much of western Canada in my travels to & from AK and when I was married to a lady from Oak Lake, MB. Always enjoyed my self and want to come back to hunt again esp birds--I'm retired and so have time- let's keep in touch
