elko, nv 3-d shoot

just thought i'd post this for anyone who is interested:
this shoot is held in elko, nv(actually the shoot is in lamoille canyon) had to be the best 3d shoot ive ever been to, cant wait till this years shoot.Its a 2 day shoot, 60 unmarked targets in one of the most beautiful settings ever. For 2 days while shooting we glassed the surrounding mountains just to watch big horns, mountain goats, and mulies doin' their thing, it was kind of hard to pay attention to the shoot.anyway, as soon as i find out this years dates i'll post em.this is one shoot everyone can enjoy.

just found out the dates for the bowhunter classic shoot in elko, nv.it will be held on june 4th & 5th.for more information you can contact john hammill 775-738-9309, or les callendar 775-753-4424 of the elko archery club.hope everyone can make this shoot, it's the best shoot i've ever been to

Had deer running across Discovery Park Archery range today around dusk. It has been so cold they are right here in the city..

yeah, it happened to us in elko last year.we were walking on the trail to the next target, and spotted an animal body up in the trees, and we thought that it was an odd place for a target but we all began judging yardage in our heads and trying to find the post to shoot from, AND THEN IT MOVED!!!!. that was one lucky little doe.
