I just got the Hodgemen Wadelights for christmas, they are the first pair of waders that i have ever used or worn. I took them out yesterday to try them out and i was thinking that i should be 100% dry under my waders, so i wore sweatpants and socks. Well after a few hours in the water i began to get cold, especially one foot. When i got out and took my waders off i discovered that i was pretty wet underneath especially my right leg which was soaked. So my question is do you guys think that my waders are faulty or was i wrong in thinking that I would be completly dry underneath. Anything you guys can tell me about this would be greatly appreciated.
thanks matt

They should be completely dry. Sometimes the sweat created by walking, hiking or just to much clothing underneath will dampen your socks and make your feet cold. If your pants, socks or anything is soaked, take them back. The way I find holes in my waders that aren't obvious is to fill them with water to just above where it is wet on my body and then hang them. They will leak to the outside and then just a little shoe goo or other adhesive will do the trick. Wait until the dry out).....hronk

It was probably in the seams around the feet or the crotch...hronk
