Ruger M77 Target Rifle

What do any of you know about Rugers "Target trigger". I just bought this rifle and it is beutiful. (Ruger M-77 Mark II Target Rifle in .223) I am just not sure what to make of this trigger and will not be able to get my hands on it for 10 days. It claims to be a two stage with initial slack and then a crisp and light break. It is also adjustable but the manual says not to mess with it. It has an overtravel and and sear engagement adjustment. Any info would be appreciated. If I must I will have a Timney installed.
