Wow! No fish?!?!?! I went to Berth 55 on friday around 6:30 and didn't see anyone.

Hey Thonz, ###I didnt say no one caught any fish.

We caught several SB but they were short. We did catch calico bass and most of us decided to throw them back. We fished hard and the Phantom worked hard to put us into some fish. The conditions were not the best and the bite was not wide open, but we had a great time anyway and I had a chance to meet some more JHP'ers. ###
I came home exhausted, I think I'll change my moniker from Hook to Sleepy. :sleep:

Yotegeeter, I got there about 715 met with D Sea, Docramo and his wife in the p-lot. Then we headed to the boat at 800. Sorry we missed you.

Derrick was there at 6:30 and I got there about 6:45.

We sure tried for fish. The crew worked their butts off trying to find them for us. None of the boats caught fish to speak of. Just a bad day.

And then to add salt to the wound.... I am driving back to Oakland this morning and ran across a fishing show on the radio. This guy is talking to all of the party boats that were out fishing this morning. Everyone one of them said "It sure sucked yesterday, but it is great today......." Bummer.

Yea, that is why it is called fishing and not called catching....lol

I concur with the previous posts, the crew of the Phantom worked their butts off to try to get us into some quality fish. ###The conditions just made it difficult. ###Still a great trip with a great bunch of guys. ###I'd fish with any of them again.

Guys I gotta agree I had more fun on that trip even though we didnt catch then on trips I have caught lots of fish , since the crew were long time friends of mine they felt terrible that they couldnt find us WSB but I told Tino its all in the effort !!! Lots of great moments on this trip Big Dogs Chowder , Don's jackpot Trigger fish ) My home made Salsa ) and talking about hunting spots all day long. d

Sorry to hear the fishing wasn't the greatest. Nice to meet hook + Dsea sorry I had to bug out early but one of the local vermon decided to back into the side of my pickup in the sportfishing parking lot. No current insurance on him and he was too drunk to find his a$$ with either hand. Put a little damper on our visit to Long Beach Sportfishing but it was nice to meet some of you. Better luck next time in the fishing.

Sorry to hear about your truck. ###The fish weren't biting, but it sure beat getting a crease put in the side of my truck. ###It was good to meet you, and talk for a few minutes anyway.
