### ###Hundreds of rainbow trout placed in a Salt Lake City fountain for a children's fishing event went belly-up Friday after someone apparently dumped chlorine into the pool.
### ###A fishing derby scheduled for Saturday was hastily canceled after the trout began dying Friday evening.
### ###The fish were stocked by the state Division of Wildlife Resources in a shallow swimming-pool sized fountain in the Gallivan Center.
### ###An official with the wildlife division said the water was tested before the 1,200 fish were planted. Someone apparently spiked the water with a chlorine-based detergent after the fish had been turned loose, according to wildlife officials.
