Off To D7 Today

I am off for another humbling experience that will be enjoyable , but leave me wondering when will it be my turn?
I love what I'm doing, but the Buck Gods could at least throw me a bone evry now and then........
Will be camped up k/p rd. at badger flat, white toy 4x4, feel free to stop and tell some lies.

I was up there for the opener... Not much sign or animals down low. I saw several does and fawns, two bears, but no legal bucks. My suggestion is GET HIGH, GET AWAY FROM ROADS, as the weather hasn't been bad enough and there were the most hunters out than I have seen in a long time. Good luck.

Good Luck, CH, I'm stuck in an Oakland Hotel until Saturday nite, then have to drive from Fresno to Los Angeles on Sunday. Missed the D7 opener for the same reason, but as you saw, my scouting partner, FresnoHunter got a nice D7 3x2 on the opener in exactly the place we had scouted out before the opener. I got up to the area for a morning hunt on Mondary, saw some fresh sign, but no deer that day. Keep at it, there's some nice bucks up there. Any day in the field is better than being stuck in these work meetings!!!!
