View Full Version : Small buck with fawn spots????

Not the best picture (the setting sun puts a glare on the picture) but if you look closely, it looks like two rows of fawn spots running down his back. What do you think?

yea it looks like spots to me. my brother-in-laws brother shot a 2 1/2 yr old 8 point a few years back that you could still see the spots on it. they were faded but you could still see them. nice pic. thanks for sharing another rjlasko.
I raise deer. I have a buck that has double white throat patch in summer coat and single in winter. Cool pic! Thanks for sharing.

I have seen this before with 1.5 yr old bucks. Could be late bred fawns that aren't quite as old as others. Rack looks pretty good though. Nice picture.

Yeah, with a nice small rack like his I was surprised to still see spots on him.
