Nevada Muzzleloader Unit 21 questions?

I drew Unit 21 muzzleloader tag and was wondering if anyone had hunted the area in the past or had any information they could pass along?

The area I'm talking about is just north of Reno. Seven Lakes Mtn. area. Anyone have anything????

Go to the Nevada Division of Wildlife web page and should get some information on hunting and stats. I myself have never hunted their but I have put in for 022 with no sucess. The unit you mention is 021?

Yes the Unit im talking about is 021. I forgot to put the 0 in there, thanks. I've been to Nevada Wildlife site and didnt find much helpful info. Thanks for the suggestion though, hoping someone may have hunted here in the past.

Call the NDOW and ask to speak to the area biologist and also call the game warden for the area. Do your homework first by reviewing topos, the last couple years statistics (on the NDOW website) and then ask them intelligent questions. Start with your honest situation (scouting effort; muley hunting experience; experience in the area-don't give them a sob story-just be honest). Say you are only looking for suggestions to get started....

East Sloper is right, it is a great area. Get out there and scout and do your homework. It doesn't seem right to just come on here and ask for everyones hard earned info. You have drawn a great tag, do it proud and good luck.
