Need suggestions on how to rig 4 inch Tubes. Seems like I am missing a lot of strikes when fishing the larger Yum Tubes. Using an jig inside the tube - looks like a 2/0 size hook. Maybe a larger hook would help?
I have been fishing crappie in the St Croix river and catching many small mouth bass and norther pike. The crappie tubes are 1.5 inches with a #4 hook. I usually fish the bass with a texas rigged worm and do not miss many hits. Decided to try the larger tubes for smallies. Get plenty of action but miss to many hits. Need to improve my rigging technique, what works for you
