Went down to the Scope Expo (http://scopeexpo.com/) today with my son. He shot a bow and a paint ball gun. I got to see a bunch of neat turkey hunting stuff. Picked up a Dad's Longbox turkey call. Sounds pretty good. Butternut box with Cedar lid.
There were 5 or 6 call makers there. The majority were from North Carolina.
Fred Cox, Singing Sam are the ones I can remember.
Also talked to Charles Alshiemer, and picked up two of his books. Very interesting fellow.
The show was sparse as compared to the Dixie Deer Classic which is the first weekend in March. But I enjoyed it.
