I made a 411mb video that is just under 4 minutes long. How can I share this with people online? Most video uploading places limit to 10mb.

Downloading a 400 mb file will take FOREVER, even with broadband. For that matter, downloading a 10 mb file takes long enough.

You should probably edit the clip down to 3 minutes or less and then encode it to a WMV at about 300 or 400 kbps. Information on how to do this can be found in the Tutorials forum of the Info Board on my site, www.HuntingFootage.com.

Using my handy dandy file size estimator below, your 4 minute video would result in a file that is 9 mb (at 300 kbps). Anticipating your next question, use Windows Media Encoder (which is a free download) to encode it.

If you are interested in the basic steps to get it to huntingfootage.com, check out the second picture below.
