I have a simple moto duck and want to CHEAPLY make it remote control. ###Any suggestions? ###I have a cordless doorbell I found on a clearance sale. ###I was thinking I could cut the speaker lines and place in a relay to turn on and off the decoy. ###I don't have an electronics background and need help designing the relay. ###It needs to turn on with one push and off with the next. ###Any ideas?

Would need to see a schematic diagram of your door bell. If it's possible to convert you'll need to carefully match the relay/relays or be prepared to carry a pocket full of "bunny energizers" with you.

Good luck with your project....

Your best and cheapest bet is to buy the one out of Herters.I have made a couple remotes before they came out for sale, what a pain. You can run a wire and switch but you need to watch out for wire when retrieving birds.

Forget the remote control and get a timer like the one on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?V...item=1169012659 (http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1169012659)
