How much money did the CWA spend helping the Klamath farmers in their lost water right battle at Klamath Basin? Was it money well spent?
Remember the lawsuit was lost in court.
Who was the "rocket scientist" who decided to join the farmers.
Massive mistake. ###The CWA sided with the farmers instead of our "former" partners the fishermen. ###Sad, sad..

So it's the fisherman who I should be pissed at Scank ?
At very least CWA got involved for waterfowl hunters and waterfowl. Do you agree ?
What would the great and know all Scank have done ?
Join the fisherman and kill the refuge ?
I doubt you ever hunted much up ther with your Daddys private baited honey hole you get to shoot.
It's OK though buddy one day it will all turn on you and you'll have nothing pal.
I stack you up right there next to PETA people and other anti idiots. Your a downer buddy. Never anything good to say about anything but yourself.
Even if you are a hunter your a disgrace to what being a hunter is all about.
I hope one day it all bite's you in the butt.
What are you ? ###19-20 years old ? Living on you parents dime ?
Pissed you can't get out of hicksvill ?
Spit it out son.
Really. ###What's your problem ?

Yeah I know Bigdog but ever once in a while you have that stray dog or scanky Coyote in the crosshairs and BANG. Oops I pulled the trigger.
Point for Stank. I bite the bait, lesson learned. What a shame if this clown would just go away. i guess I fed him a scrap. Can't take it back now

Scank,
Once again the all knowing Scank proves how little he knows. ###Yes CWA did join in the farmers lawsuit, but that doesn't mean CWA is in the suit with the exact same purpose as the farmers. ###CWA joined to represented the interest of waterfowl in the Basin. ###In other words CWA was one of the concerned group representing interest that the ESA action was poorly founded and poor resource management. ###Joining a lawsuit is a less expensive and easier route than filing our own suit. ###CWA hasn't had to spend much and it allowed CWA a seat at the table through all the action. ###We should all be thankful that CWA took this action because DU has shown up to virtually nothing and applied about the same time and effort to any compromise or solution in the Basin. ###So the only group representing waterfowl/waterfowlers has been CWA. ###Not only has that built ties that may get the refuge more water before the season, it has also shown the folks in the Basin CWA has concern for them and their plight. ###It may not look this way to Scank but the money spend in the Basin was a good investment for the future of waterfowling in the Klamath Region. ###Maybe Scank can start Bottomfeeders Unlimited and represent the suckers. :flamethwr

i agree with you riley, i was always one of the pessimistic ones about CWA opting to send my money elsewhere. however, as you mentioned they're the only ones to step up to the plate for waterfowlers and i appreciate this.guess i'll have to re up my membership. good luck

Just pray to god daddy never loses the farm, you might have to face up to the refuge gang. Until next time, and Im sure there will be one!Adios

I've never said anything deragatory to any follwers of Mike Riley. Why attack me? I realize all of you are happy being followers of this self-appointed DUCK god.
How about some original thoughts about what is occuring in California. The followers just repeat what Riley states.
Hey once again.. I did not achieve anything from my Dad. In fact, he passed away. If I said anything like this I would be banned from this forum by the "gutless" Jesse.
Hey Steve," Mega-nothing." I like your threats but you also have to be tough to go along with the big mouth..
Have fun at the Rfuges in two years when you don't have water. ###Ask Riley what I mean. He knows everything..

No skank, its called FATE. We as duck hunters must make an effort to stand behind ###the resource we all love dearly. The effort being made is tough enough without your comments. It sad that YOU throw my name onto the ###scene, but you have never mentioned yours? Well?

Scank, I just can't figure you out. Why on earth do you even care what happens on a refuge? Hell, you've proposed closing the things down! What's up?! Isn't there some "Rice Farmers Refuge" you can hang out in, or did they ban your ass, too?
Think about it. I've seen you on at least three or four forums, and you continually spew your venom and get your butt kicked around and/or kicked out. Geez, take a shower, comb your hair, hop in your rig and head over to Willows and find a woman or something.
Finally, Jesse's done nothing but provide the last place for you to bitch and whine. You owe the man an apology. ###

Now Scank, you said you were gonna tone it down and here you go again with the Riley stuff and even taking a shot at the big boss of the forum. :O
What happened,dude.
Now haven't you heard the old saying, "Don't bad mouth the pay clerk, the cook or the forum owner".
Be cool, dude. We need you around for a "balanced view".

Just read Scanks post, don't have clue to his water comment. ###CVPIA contracts were signed 1/19/01 - 25 year water contracts for the valley refuges. ###Who knows what Mr. Negativity (Scank) is thinking.
Let's get this forum back to the CWA lawsuit in Klamath if we can. ###There are some good things happening as a result. ###CWA (the ONLY conservation group representing waterfowl and waterfowl hunters) is at the table in the middle of the mediation process currently underway. ###As a result, 3,600 acre feet of water is currently being delivered to Lower Klamath Refuge. ###This water meets the requirements to maintain water for units 2, 8, and 12. ###This should help the molting and young waterfowl for the time being. ###They are also working (WITH THE AG FOLKS) to gain additional water to flood up the refuge this fall. ###CWA IS THE ONLY ONE AT BAT FOR YOUR INTRESTS!!!! ###If you do'nt believe that, then tell me who else is? ###I would be a proud supporter of any other group that could lend CWA a hand. ###Remember folks, even if you don't hunt the Basin at all. ###No Water in the basin will affect your waterfowling anywhere in the Pacific Flyway!
