After reading the pros and cons of the robo and the mallard mortality rate for the last 6 months , it seemes strange they left the hen limit at 2. now we have a 7 week season with no robo, and a 7 week season with robo. It apperas that somebody is trying to get more data, but I am not sure what they are looking for. Granted the locals take the brunt of the harvest early, and young of the year are more likely to come to robos if the data I have read is right. But ###with no robos in Washington and Oregon using them will the Northern birds be wise by the time they get here? ###Just trying to understand the process but it seems there are more questions then ansewers, but ###I guess the best thing to do is enjoy the season and hope for strong winds and cold weather, with some fog thrown in to boot.
