Part of sharing a blind is the memories. Sunrises, doubling up on a pair of mallards and classic misses on teal are part of the experience. Usually these epic moments cause us to utter lines that go down in infamy. What are your sayings or lines that will forever be etched in your gray matter.

One I can remember involved a kid and a pair of pintails that landed right next to our blind and dekes. We wanted the kid to get his first bull sprig and the father and I told the kid to "take em". After a long pause the father leaned over and said to the youngster, "Breath son, breath!". I about fell out of the blind giggling. Poor kid was hyperventilating over his stage fright. Kid got his bull sprig later that evening.

After emptying his gun at a pair, my partner yelling, "And don't you ever come back!" I about bust a gut.

Think the most memorable "unsaid words" that happen in my blind is the look on everyone's face when the flock comes in and after all the shooting is finished - all the flock goes out.

Then the famous - "what happened".

I think the best one is when 3 or 4 guys are in the blind and we all shoot and I jump up and say I got mine and there is only one bird down LOL!! You should hear the stuff come out of that blind ROFLMAO!!

On a birdless morning I like to look over to my partner and say "I need 7 more for my limit, how about you?" or "need me to make a shell run yet?"

When a duck is coming in real close the blind yells "In YO FACE". ###Or my favorite "hey Kid Creole how did you miss, that duck was so close too you HE S--T ON YOUR hat, do you need me to walk this towel over to you so you can wipe S--T from you eyes". ### Or "OH!!, I think the wind is picking up maybe will finally get some shooting". Or ###"Pass me a cup of hot Joe". "You hook em, I'll clean em and fry them up".### Often a little humor in the blind goes a long way on those sometimes long, and boring days.

WingSetter,

Truer words were never spoken.

A little humor among friends never hurt anyone. :smile-yellow:
