I have narrowed my selection down to a Beeman GS1000 in .22 cal. However, I've been checking around here locally and am not finding anyone who stocks the .22 cal pellets. Everyone basically just carries .177 pellets. I did contact 'The Sports Authority' in Melbourne, Fla. but they are out of them. They said they stock them but not in any significant quantity and they go quickly when they get them in (you'd think that would give them a message wouldn't you?). None of the local Wal-Marts carry them either.

Other than mail order, where are you guys finding your pellets? If I can't find a reliable source I may be forced to rethink my selection and look into a .177 cal again. I just wanted the .22 cal because i thought they'd be easier to handle. My old nimble fingers are a thing of the past. :-(

Compasseco Inc and Pyramiad have some good prices on .22 Pellets I never see Beemans Crow Mags or RWS hps in .22 at Walmarts but these sites have them. For practice I use Crosmans 7.9 wadcutters in the 500ct container for $2.99 @ Academy they are not precision pellets but will shoot some impressive groups.
Just FYI I know you are interested in .22 pellets.

Stay away from the super bargains like the 2000 rounds of .22 chinese plinking pellets fo $8, they are very inconsistance and unless you weight each round you will never get good groups they may help with leading the barrel. To prepare for shooting the good stuff after cleaning.
