When I send a PM to Bat, I send two of them. I only hit the send once. I know, so don't ask if I'm sure I only hit the send key once. HEHE... It takes me to a screen that says page can not be displayed.

I sent a PM to Welby in between messages I sent Bat and I only sent Welby one message.

How come I send Bat two messages each time I send one.

Thanks
Jill

Rebooted PC only sent one last PM.

I guess that should be my first option when problems occur. At least that is what every help desk asks..."Have you tried rebooting your PC?" http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-hitting-self.gif

That's always the first response. Have you rebooted your computer?

AND If that doesn't work try... http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-throw-computer-ani.gif http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-hammer-yellow.gif

Now mine is starting to do that. After I send the PM it defaults back to "page cannot be displayed"!!!! What going on with this? I click on "refresh" and it will clear up. Windows 98SE

Reboot NOW!!!!!! We must be too active on this board and it is starting to get to our computers. http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-hair-raisin-blue.gif

Seriously, the reboot took care of my problem.

scruff, I reboot all the time and I still get one of those every now and then... got no more answers so I guess I will live with it. It's funny it only does it every now and then when you send a PM or maybe delete some of the old PMs off.

I dont know if this is your case or not, but if you refresh after you "post" or "delete", you may be re"posting" or re"deleting". It will re-execute the last action on the server side.
