Marking posts

This is a question and not a problem, didn't see any other forum to post it in other than this one that would appropriate.

My question is

Is there a way to mark a post so that you can have a link to it at all times in your profile, like a favorites link. Just like the favorites links you have in your browser. I have found these to be great when you want to keep track of information for times when you are researching previous posts.

If this is not part of the forum function is it something that can be added?

I did a quick search for the software that the board is using and found a mod that can be added to add the feature IF Jesse likes it. You can find the download here Favorites mod (http://mods.ibplanet.com/db/?mod=2124). You may have to register to the site to see the mod or get it but its real quick registration.

Just thought this would be a highly used feature and a good addition. I know in the Homebrew Game Trail forum it would be very helpful with marking certain posts when you are trying to research how to build a trail cam. As new things come about or made you can mark the post as a favorite and always have it as a quick link to go back too without having to search and weed through posts.

With this users can select favorite topics. Each topic they place in their list will be highlighted differently from other topics to make it stand out. Topics can be added by click the envelope icon on the left or by clicking the Add/Remove Favorites link while in a topic.

We have a couple mods to the forum weare going to look at as soon as some other projects get finished here.

For now you can bookmark favorite forum threads in your IE bookmarks. Just create a folder called JHO faves or something like that and you can save the threads you like for future refrence.

Netcape peeps can do the same thing.
