New Toy!!!!!

My wife gave me an RWS model 34 for Christmas. I can't believe how nice this rifle is even though it is the low end model. I'm not used to this kind of accuracy and power out of an air rifle. If I'd have had this thing when I was a kid there would be all kinds of extinct bird species. I'm not into dusting tweeties anymore, but I am tickled to death with this thing. Maybe in a year or two I'll upgrade to a higher model, but I'm extremely satisfied for now. Hope all of you had a great Christmas.

Spud, it's kind of like when you try out a quality set of binoculars - you'll never settle for the cheapo's again. I fully expect my Beeman to outlast me. Good shooting!

I&#39;ve had an RWS 34 for about 15 years and still shoots great. I even put a 3X9 Bushnell scope on it. Good choice by the wife.

I too have been shooting a Model 34 for about 8 years. Very powerful and very accurate. Never shot any other quality air rifles, and I am quite happy with this one. The scope is a Bushnell Banner series 4-12x40 with A/O. Way too much scope, but it looks good, is very clear, and it is nice to zoom in close some times. I have taken several crows, pigeons, rabbits, quail, dove, a ground squirrel, and a mess of black birds in the back yard with it. If I am out shooting lizards with my 9 year old son, it is only head shots at a distance. He can&#39;t cock it but loves to shoot it with a rest! And he shoots it well.......

There is a good web site/store called Airgun Express. com. They have a lot of good reading info.
