unsoldering?

Just wondering what was the best way to unsolder the original 24vdc blue relay on the Regent MS20C. I will be replacing it with a Radio shack relay. This is my first project so I was wanting to make sure I get it right. thanks

Buy a desoldering tool, or desoldering wick. Both will do a clean job removing the solder after you heat up.

Don't over heat board, do it in small amounts, and check you have not left pieces on board.

yes, get the solder sucker tool, it is almost impossible to remove the relay without it. I did the first one without it and was lucky I did not tear the board up, the rest I have used the solder sucker, it is a breeze now!
