Avatar upload

I went to change my Avatar and deleated the old one . I do not see a place to upload from my compuetr there anymore . Can we still do it that way ?

Thats what I thought , thank you . I am not able to get it on here from the web for some reason . I'll keep at it I guess.

You know on the avatar tab..where it has the place for the link..you find you deseried image and right click on it..and go down to properties..and then you copy the WHOLE link ( somes time you cant see it all ) and then paste it in that slot

I just checked and you can still upload an image from your own puter. THat hasn't been turned off.

Look at the bottom where the "Borwse" button is in your Controls>avatar>settings to find the image on your hard drive.

I have a browse tap on my personal photo but do not have one with the Avatar . For some reason I can not even do it with webshots . It is 150 x 150 but will not go over to here .

I'll keep at it lol .

I just logged on as a member and the browse button is there under avatar settings.

Thats what I am seeing YH88 . I dont see any upload avatar . But , if I go to my personal photo option I see one .

Try a different browser, I see it on IE 6.0 and Netscape 7.0

Anyone else missing the local upload button?

I am using IE 6.0 . I tried a few more option and can not change the skin color either just the English part . I am going to try to log out then back in .

I put the new avatar on my webshot page and use this link"http://community.webshots.com/photo/53728498/102890902aQMJyq" it tells me it is not a valid file extension

I leave the puter on since I have cable now and sometimes my lil girls ( 2 & 4) push buttons and maybe I had this site up and they changed something on me . I will keep at it !

D Letho, I think it might be webshots..Because your picture isnt showing.. Its just showing it as corrupt...

One reason the free pic hosting sites are not the best to use, you can't link pics from them to forums or outside their website. THat's why you can't see your pic.

Right now there is only one skin choice for all members.

You should be able to upload directly. Try another computer if you can.

HMMMM I thought I got it to work I can see it there now .

You can see it cuz it's in your browser cache. We see a red X. Your avatar is a red X right now.

Most pic hosting sites WILL NOT let you hot link pics to other websites.

got it to load from hard drive for personal file, but not to avator. I don&#39;t have that option.

Try it now, I found a hidden switch that had the mods and Pro staff turned off for avatar upload.
