With the use of the Air Skinner hunters and taxidermists can skin domestic livestock, big and small game, turkey and waterfowl by inserting a needle under the skin of the animal and using compressed air to inflate the skin and separate it from the underlying tissue. The Air Skinner comes with one large needle for skinning deer. It is designed to be used with an air compressor and a standard air chuck, like those found at gas stations. The kit also comes with a needle adapter that can be used with three smaller needles for use on animals as small as squirrels and rabbits. The smaller needles can also be used by taxidermists to skin out the ears and lips on big game animals in preparation for mounting the heads.
