Seen other state forums doing this and was nice to read how other hunts were going . Thought I would start one here . Let us know how your season is going .

Oct.13 . Head out late due to work http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-oops-yellow.gif . walk about 10 fet into the woods and see a little guy feeding . Turn on the camcorder and see mom next to the little one . Tape for about 3 minutes she blows at me and runs off . ( you can see footage of this @ THIS LINK DANCING DOE (http://www.huntingfootage.com/showphoto.php?photo=137) .

Get to my stand at 3:30 PM . Get set up and sit there . 4:40 2 small does move in my small plot and feed . Both there tails go up and they head off . 2 minutes later a group of kids rideing ATV's fly by . Nothing the rest of the night . Had my cam there and got this pic this morning . No bucks so would have let them pass . Forgive the crappy looking plot . Got the seed out real late this year and it is a first time plot . Only had it out for about 10 days though so this rain is helping me with warm day .

D,

My season has been horrible. I really liked the doe footage. She is no dummy! I have not been getting out as much as I would like, but I have not seen a damn thing the last 3 times out. The guys are starting to stir the woods up on the weekends. I can only assume they are getting ready for muzzleloader or shotgun. The deer seem to be on edge, and they are not taking to food well in this area. I think I may switch over to scent bags and such and give a try at that. I will be going out tomorrow afternoon....and if anything is seen I will let you know. There are too many people stomping the woods....dropping food down...and the deer understand this I believe. They are not coming into it until after dark.....
