We "talked" a while back about the new Mass online licenses. At the time, me and MB had both gotten our licenses online and it was extremely slick. I bought my wife's that way too. A week or two ago all of the people (I assume it was all) who ordered online were sent a notification about being able to buy doe tags online and that if you bought your license online you get first crack at any available zones (the usuals ... 10,13,14). Well, I bought two zone 10 permits for $5 each plus a one dollar transaction fee ($11 total). I got them in the mail two days later. No trying to make time during the workday to drive to Westboro and wait in line! That's worth a buck!

Anyway, just thought I'd let y'all know for next year. You can also get all your stamps that way too when your buying your license. They just show as pre-printed little stampy-looking things on the license they mail to you.

MB (or anyone else), did you get your doe tags this way?

I love to complain about Mass, but they really did a superb job on the online license tool.

I got my one doe tag by mail after the lottery, sent it back with the cash and have yet to receive it....

My wife got the same email I did ... maybe they just don&#39;t like you? They&#39;re probably just jealous with you being the leader of this forum and all. It&#39;s lonely at the top.

I called on that too (the mail away tags), as I thought I got my wife&#39;s and misplaced it. What I got was her notification that she got selected for (zone 10). the lady said that they havn&#39;t been mailed out yet, but they will be mailed out end of Sept.

PS: If you bought your license online, you can purchase two Zone 10 permits and unlimited permits for zones 13 and 14. Some other zones state that one can be purchesed but the date is "unanounced". If I get aniother email regarding these other zones I&#39;ll post it here.

I&#39;m gonna check out the link, thanks. I think the unannounced date was the one in October I&#39;ve heard speak of, but I certainly never got a notification on 10, 13 and 14... Maybe the state doesn&#39;t like me. They&#39;re probably jealous of me being the guy that cuts the grass here, LOL.
