Fish and Game head sworn in
Lee Perry was sworn in by Gov. Craig Benson yesterday as the new director of the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department.
Perry replaces Acting Director William Bartlett, who has run the agency since former director Wayne Vetter was suspended nine months ago over allegations of sexual harassment. Vetter later agreed to step down.
Before accepting the New Hampshire job, Perry served for five years as the Maine Commissioner of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
Perry will oversee about 200 state workers. His appointment will last four years.
