olympus inf.jr.date

Hello every one.I'm new to the forum and a real novice in electronics so I'm counting on some help PLEASE! I'm building my first unit and I found an inf.jr. on ebay.now how do I modify it ?I found no diagram on the website.
I'm still trying to find an owl pf.Can't find any in Mich.I'm just N.of Detroit.

Does anyone have the instructions for setting the date and changing the battery on the Olympus Date Back?

My date quit imprinting and I'm trying to figure out why.

The following is a list of directions for setting the time and date
function on Olympus cameras.

Main Points:
* The Time and Date prints on the lower corner on the front of ###the image.
*The clock for the Time feature runs on military time, so ###1 P.M. will
read as 13:00 and 12 midnight is 00:00. You must set
### ###the ###time function correctly in order for the date to change correctly.
###* You may cancel the Time / date mode at any time by setting the "MODE "
to the series of dashes ###( - - - - ). These do
### ### not imprint on the image. You DO NOT need to re-set the Time / Date
mode the next time you choose to use it. On
### ### Olympus ###A.P.S. cameras you can cancel the imprinting on the front of
the image but the time and date will still print on
### ### the back of the photograph.
### * Olympus cameras offers three date modes to choose from.
### ### They appear in the following order :
### ### ###1). ###MONTH - DAY - YEAR
### ### ###2). ###DAY - MONTH - YEAR
### ### ###3). ###YEAR - MONTH - YEAR
### ### ### You may set the DATE in any of these 3 modes and it will be correct
for all others.

SETTING THE TIME AND DATE

Cameras with a - MODE - and - SET - button only.

1). Begin by PRESSING and HOLDING DOWN the - MODE- button ###( for 3 - 5
seconds ) UNTIL you see the first set
### ### of numbers FLASHING.

2). Once the first set of numbers are FLASHING, you then LET UP off the -
MODE- button and then PRESS the - SET-
### ### ###button until you reach the CORRECT number.

3). Then - LIGHTLY - press the - MODE - button again. This will start ###the
NEXT group of numbers blinking . Again,
### ### ### PRESS the - SET- button until you reach the CORRECT number.

4). Once you have completed setting the date, lightly press the - MODE -
button to go past the remaining ###2 date modes
### ### ###( as these are now also correctly set). This ###will bring ###you to the
TIME mode. Set the correct time by again
### ### ###HOLDING DOWN ###the - MODE- button ( for 3 - 5 ###seconds ) UNTIL you see
the first set ###of numbers FLASHING.
### ### ###using the - SET - button to correct the time.

5).Once the first set of numbers are FLASHING, you then LET UP off the -
MODE- button and then PRESS the - SET-
### ### ###button until you reach the CORRECT number.

6). Finish by lightly tapping the - MODE- button to return to the mode you
choose to use for imprinting.

If the time / date is no longer appearing on your camera or imprinting on
the photograph, the battery on the cameras' quartz date would need to be
replaced. This can only be done when the film has been removed, as the
battery compartment is located inside the back door of the camera. It is on
the upper corner,next to the hinge for the back door. The cover is held in
place by a Philips head screw. Simply remove the screw and replace the
battery (see your camera manual for further details.)
###The quartz date uses 1 - CR 2025 - 3 volt lithium battery. You may
purchase it where they sell watch or hearing aid batteries, such as a drug
or jewelry store.
