I have an old Brno#1 with 16mm dovetails, similar to those on a CZ 527. I have been using "airgun" mounts for years and haven't been happy with the added height or the appearance of these rings. I never wanted to pay CZ or Brno's price for rings, though, so I went looking through Brownells and Lo! They had an adapter made by B-Square for $32 that would accept Weaver-style rings. I ordered one, post-haste, and mounted it today. Love it! With some "Low" Weaver rings and the Leupold 2x7 that friend PMI dropped off for me last Saturday, I finally have the set-up I've wanted for the last 20 years. If you have a CZ and want a decent mount, look this one up. Looks like it would be very handy for swapping out scope/ring assemblies with minimal re-sight in. ~Andy
PS: I ordered the "extended" version for the same price and I'm glad I did! The extended version allowed me some flexibilty in mounting as it has multiple cross-slots for the Weaver rings.
