I was at the range two weeks ago with my father in law. My wife and her mother went shopping and we went shooting. I was getting my .243 ready for the season and he was shooing his .22 rimfire. After about 100 rounds I noticed he "stove piped" a round. He told me something was wrong with the gun. I was thinking the issue was between the ground and the gun. Well I could not get the gun to work. We packed it up and took it home. We took the Sears gun apart and it turns out that it had the casing stuck in the chamber with the end blown clean off. we got it out using a cleaning rod and a screw driver. He pushed on the cleaning rod and I made sure it hooked on the edge or the casing with the screw driver.
Well thats never happned to me before and I have burned up my share of .22 rimfire rounds
