New commissioners
There are some new people calling the shots in Kansas fish, wildlife and parks management.
Gov. Kathleen Sebelius has announced the appointment of three new Wildlife and Parks Commission members.
* Shari Wilson of Kansas City, Kan., is special project coordinator for the Kansas Association of Conservation and Environmental Education. She has coordinated state and regional environmental education conferences.
*Kelly Johnston of Wichita is a lawyer who is a member of the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, the Sierra Club and the NAACP.
* Doug Sebelius of Norton has been county attorney for Norton County for 22 years. In his capacity, he has assisted conservation officers and park rangers with enforcement programs and management issues.
