edit function

I don't see the little edit button that allows you to edit your post. I used it this morning but it does not appear to be there anymore.....Damn I post this and now its back and am writing this in edit mode. who knows maybe it was in my "blind spot"

Well after I posted this I went back to a post that I wanted to edit and the little edit box isn't there. It also wasn't there when I re-opend this post. Any thoughts I'm logged in and it shows my name at the bottom of the page as someone viewing the page.

I see the edit button its right above each of your post

The edit function now only works for 5 minutes after you post.

Is the five minute mark still holding true? I've got a buddy posting here (that's learning as he goes) and he says he doesn't get the edit button. I haven't watched for the first five minutes when he posts, but then, I just found this message.

Are we still set for the five minute mark?

Edit function is set to 4 hours. This was implemented because we have had a few certain clowns who would post an attack or something that wasn't allowed here, then they would edit it out and claim they never made the post to cover their tracks. Now after 4 hours it stays so a mod or admin can view it to see what was really posted.
