hello all! i really never come to this board so i am kinda new .

i recently purchased a cz vz24. 24" bbl that seems to have been done in a matte finsish with a sporterized bolt and scope on tope.
my question is.... i want to use iron sights on this gun. from what i have heard the original sights on here could not be accurate due to they where made for a particular load. is there any other ways that i can get a sight on there without possibly tapping the gun for a lyman?
i have looked into the mojo system but they don't seem to sell the one i want . also is there i way to get a sight closer to the back of the rifle?

Great Rifle! I'm assuming it is an 8mm? (8x57?) One of my favorite calibers. The best method for using iron sights would be to have a "reciever sight" mounted. This would bring the rear peep sight close to your eye for finer shooting. The sight mounts on the right side of the reciever just head of the bolt with the peep on an arm that goes up and over the reciever. It's adjustable for windage and elevation. To match such a fine sight, I'd have a fine bead and ramp installed. All this is pretty much gunsmith installation and generally, it won't be as cheap as mounts and a cheap scope. (The rear sight around $55, the front sight $20, and ????? cash to mount it all...)

I have many rifles set up like this and very fine accuracy can be achieved. Good luck! ~Andy
