Kahles Supports Youth Hunter Apprentice Program
Kahles launches nationwide search for six lucky youths.
Cranston, Rhode Island (May 16, 2003)--Kahles is proud to partner with Safari Club International and Y.O. Ranch Adventures to support our future generations of hunters. A weeklong SCI-endorsed Youth Hunter Apprentice Program is offered at the Y.O. Ranch Adventures camp located in Mountain Home, TX.
A special reward has been put together by Kahles, SCI and Y.O. Ranch Adventures for six lucky youths to win an all expenses-paid trip to the Y.O. Ranch for the weeklong Youth Hunter Apprentice Program.
Beginning July 1, 2003 and continuing through the end of the year, any consumer purchasing a Kahles binocular or riflescope will have the opportunity to enter the nationwide drawing. Youth names submitted should be between the ages of 12-17 as of July 2004. Six luck winners ill be selected (one from each designated regions) and announced at the 2004 SCI convention.
This comprehensive apprentice-hunter program has been specifically designed to meet the needs of both inexperienced and experienced young hunters. Participants learn valuable survival skills, camp craft skills, gun safety, hunting ethics, wildlife conservation management, tracking and much more. Each youth participant will have the opportunity to hunt and harvest one animal. Hunt will be conducted on foot--safari style.
