I was wondering if anyone has ever used Techni ice. If so any good or bad comments about this product.

It's not the miracle they claim it to be. I have 6 sheets. Make sure your food is cold before placing it in the cooler, otherwise the stuff is practically useless. Its not bad for a single day use but anything longer is shaky.

If I can find the remaining sheets, I might send you one. Every L.A. Co. Fair, my wife's favorite thing is to point out those sheets to me. I still get crap about spending $60 for a bunch of them.....I still get crap almost everytime we go camping or use the ice chest....I don't think I can ever live down those **** sheets!
September of Last year walking under the tunnel into the fair "Oh boy kids, they might have special ICE SHEETS THAT WE CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT here today. Keep your eyes open".

I'd give 'em a 6.5 ot of 10. I have had mine for about 7 years and one has started to leak. Ditto what Karstic said about starting with cold stuff - it won't cool down a 12-pack. While they might not be ideal, I still use them regularly.
The BEST use is to keep one or two in the freezer at all times to put on the little one's boo boos. http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-thumbs-up-aqua.gif

Used them in AZ during the HAM hunt. I was in Az for 5 days, they stayed cold. I was pleased with the results. The best way to use them is to wrap around already cold items and then stack on top. I f you read the directions, the colder the packs the better. all freezers have colder not colder settings. I like them and will buy more. If you guys want to mail them to me let me know. KArstic I'll have to post a picture of the trailer I bought from you. Used it at POR's, Carrizo and AZ.......

There's times when I regret selling that trailer http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-hitting-self.gif If I could find another one I'd buy it.
Heck instead of posting a pick how 'bout hooking up for a hunt?
Put ice in first, then put in parishables then lay sheets over the top. This works best in my trips into hot areas for less than three days. Any longer in real heat and they are done. And thats the bottom line. JD http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-faces-toast-beers.gif
