Black powder surplus guns

Anyone shoot black powder surplus guns? I shoot a 577-450 Martini Henry, Springfield Trapdoor & a 43 Spanish Remington Rolling Block. I don't shoot them often cause I hate cleaning them but when we do take em out it's fun to shoot them.

Jim: I shoot 1871 .43 Mauser, 577 Snider, & Trapdoor. Awful lot of fun. I don't mind cleaning them too much. No worse than my muskets! ~Andy

Ammoe, maybe we need to try & get a JHP blackpowder shoot going lol. Find a range & camp there or find a choice spot for coyotes & rabbits for the trip. Not to many of us here that shoot them maybe we can convert a few over & try it.

Sounds good to me! I'd like to toss those "pumpkin slugs" out of my '71 Snider MkII at some bunnies! My Boy could bring the 43 Mauser. We'd have to blind fold him though...he just doesn't miss with that thing! ~Andy

Name the place & the time as long as it's the first 2 weeks of the month!!! I really need to find a way of getting rid of that dang service wagon so I can have all my weekends off. Anybody know of a range that would allow camping or is within driving from San Diego & Bakersfield? Lets see if we can get this going.
