Iwould like to street license my polaris 500 ho.Iwill need horn , blinkers,license plate light,mirrors and dot tires. Has anyone else done this ? Any input would be welcome. Ridding on the streets is out but forest service roads that are between trail heads would be great.There is a trail being built, some already completed, that will go from Mexico to Canada.The problem is that a portion is on county road. The dual sport mc's have no problem. Thanks; Al

In Arizona we don't need the blinkers or D.O.T. tires to have the quads street legal for license plate purposes. Many of out National Forests are now requiring the quads to be street legal to ride on the Forest Service roads.

In ky all you need is a brake light and headlights and you are good to go for registering

Try contacting CHP, you might need to just set it up under the golf cart rules to get it registered. That might be an easier way to get it done.
