Yes , I work with his daughter and used to work with one of his son's /wife,partner.I got to read a couple of the books before they came to be released. I'll always remember the first time I drove by his house one November ....amazing I had no idea who's house it was and the size of the deer were huge every one was over 200 lbs.Still kicking myself I didn't pick up one of his commerative rifles price has gone through the roof.I will be picking up one of his knives he does a great job on those and he's not getting any younger. I still swing by at the end of deer season to take a gander and dream. His sons and grandsons are following in his footsteps.

The one in Vt. only one I know she works at Ben & jerrys also. I know more about the family from talking to her sister-in -law who lives with one of his sons a really great lady .Where did you get the cover pic from? I remember reading it when it first came out you still have one? i used to have boxes of magazines from the early 70s but got tired of moving them and running out of room. Obviously you read an article or two judging from the couple of nice deer you had in your weight comparison guess picture.. Good hearing from you here ,nice too see somebody reads it besides me . Got to hit the hay early have to scout turkeys for two daughters .Youth weekend is coming up this Sat and Sun and want to give them a chance for a shot anyway.

http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-biggrin-aqua.gif Been friends with them since 77 when I hunted with LB. Zana is a real nice gal and a great cook. Went to Larry's seminar a couple of months ago. It was great! You should go to the next one if you can afford it, it's well worth the money. The pix is the SA cover shot from Oct 1970. I have one. It goe's for about $300 on ebay if you can find one. His first book goes for $3-400 and comes up fairly often. Talk to you again when I have more time.
