Has anyone tried the Burris Signature binoculars?

From talking with the customer service people at the various places like Natchez, MidSouth etc., they are almost as clear/bright as a $1000 Ziess or "Ski" They are phase coated, waterproof, "focus lock", diopter lock, rubber armoured, and have the longest eye relief I've seen at 1" (25.4 mm). And I've been told that Burris is good about warranty , especially on their high-end items.

But, has anyone tried them? Are they as rugged as a hunting "glass" needs to be?

I've handled a pair, I think they're good bino. I have a pair of Burris Fullfield binos 8x40, good optics. I would say though, for the money you'd be better off buying a pair of Pentax 8x42's DCFWP, than the Burris sigs. You'll save a couple hundred, and the Pentax's are just as good, if not better than the Burris Sigs.
