Talked to the DFG guy today on the base and he told me this years deer hunt will be for Military only. He kinda talked like they may not open the base to civilians for hunting anymore in the future. We will just have to wait and see.

You might want to try Camp Roberts, Its still going to be open to the public.

Living as close as I do to Camp Pendleton and being active duty this will work out for me. All though I've considered getting an AO tag and may come up there and try it out along with Vandenburg.

I will be A01 at VAFB this year archery which starts in JULY. Cant wait.
