All,

I would like to encourage and invite you all to partake in the legislative process by appearing at the Assembly Water, Parks and Wildlife Committee public hearing concerning AB 342 and AB 1190. It is imperative that we have a very strong showing, as they will undoubtedly ask the proponents and opponents to rise from their seats in order to gain insight into the general public sentiment.

*****The two bills will be heard on Tuesday, March 25th beginning at 9:00am in Room 437.*****

The United States Sportsman's Alliance is encouraging all opponents to meet in the basement cafeteria of the California State Capitol Building at 8:00 am.

I STRONGLY urge you to come dressed in professional attire and be armed only with a courteous and mature demeanor.

Due to budget hearings, all hearings in the Assembly for the week of
March 24-28 have been cancelled. Including Assembly Water, Parks &
Wildlife who had scheduled the following bills: AB 342 (Koretz) Mammals:
taking & AB 1190 (Nation) Birds: western mourning doves and white-winged
doves.

The hearing were put off until April sometime, maybe someone can find out the new date.

Normally outsider comments are ignored, but lobbyists in Sacramento tell me that inputs from non-California organizations do influence this kind of bill. If you are an officer of a club, please U.S. mail your opposition to AB 342 and AB 1190 on club letterhead to Chairman Canciamilla. Thank you.

If it&#39;s after April 15th I&#39;ll attend. I&#39;ve got to schedule a business trip to Sacramento between April 16th and May 30th to do an audit, I&#39;ll schedule it around that time (hopefully those bozos will see the light).
