So, I was thinking about getting a side arm for hunting season sort of as a backup or even to hunt deer with.

Do you think this new handgun would be enough punch for our CA blacktails. Also see bullet comparision chart below the link http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/afraid_face.gif

I think if you use that on a Blacktail, you'd better like sausage.

If you're gonna tote that S&W 500, you better get a sling for it and leave the rifle home!

Honestly, I think it's a cool gun and all, but talk about your overkill! http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-laser-shoot-red.gif

I can't even see justifying it for hogs or bear. Of course, if you hunt grizzly country, it might be worth the effort... if you can learn to hit anything with it. But in most of the lower 48...

I would never want one, just thought I'd post it if people had never seen it. Me wanting it for deer hunting was said very tongue-in-cheek. Can you imagine trying to put five shots in rapid succession in a small group. http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-shootin-green.gif

I figured it must've been a joke. But you never know... http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-rolleyes-green.gif

But yeah, I'm trying to imagine putting ONE shot into a small group from that thing.

I can see it selling like mad , Then there will be thousands of them locked in the safe with a box with 45 cartridges left in it.
There are only going to be a few guys that can shoot this gun well enough to hunt with it .

Hey look at the positive side of it, you won't have to pay the butcher for ground meat! http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-biggrin-aqua.gif
