Hey Buckfever7, good to see you over onb this board too. I just bought a Chippewa Wedge Loc, Brutus Maximus right before last year's hunting season. It is an awesome stand. My only small gripe is that it creaks a little in extremely cold weather. The platform is made out of aluminum mesh which has a tendency to creak a little in very cold weather. It's a very solid stand and very well made.

Hey mwinter, great to see you in here as well. I was most impressed with how quick and easy it would hang...get a few extra chain hangers and set em up in trees , then just hang the stand on when you go out. I don't think I'll ever do away with my summit viper xls, but i live in areas where stands are regularly stolen, and the idea of not leaving a stand out appeals to me, and climbing trees are not always accessable.
