Garmin Map76 users

Howdy folks,
for anyone using the Garmin Map76 unit , here is the latest software upgrade

GPSMAP 76 software version 3.10 (http://www.garmin.com/support/agree.jsp?id=153) as of February 10, 2003


Notes:

Reverting back to previous released versions will clear user memory.
Users are strongly urged to backup any user data they wish to save.
WARNING: If your current software version is less than 3.01 Beta, this software will clear all unit data including alamanac information. Backup all user data before upgrading. After installation is complete, place unit with a clear view of the sky for 15-30 minutes to re-acquire almanac data.
WARNING: If this software is uploaded to a device other than that for which it is designed, you will not be able to operate that device.
If attempts to upload software fail, you may need to return the device to GARMIN for service.


Changes made from version 2.09 to 3.10:

Increased the active track log to 10,000 points.
Increased each saved track log to 750 points.
Increased user waypoints to 1,000 waypoints.
Improved various translations.
Added EOV Hungarian and South African grid support.
Added functionality to start, stop, or resume navigation from the Route Detail page's option menu.

it seems they had a bug in the last version that was fixed in this newer version

GPSMAP 76 software version 3.20 as of February 22, 2003 (http://www.garmin.com/support/agree.jsp?id=153)

Changes made from version 3.10 to 3.20:
Restored transmission of GSV NMEA sentences in full for every two-second
update.
Corrected display of available route waypoints on the Route Setup Map
page.
