L.D.W.F. EMPLOYEE AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries handed out awards recognizing the outstanding work done by its employees during 2002. Twelve employees were honored at the December 5 meeting of the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission. LDWF Secretary James H. Jenkins Jr. and LDWF Undersecretary James Patton announced the awards in three categories.
The Customer Service Award is given to employees who have provided internal and external customers with outstanding service and assistance. This year's awards went to:
Judy Coody Office of Management and Finance - Fiscal Section
Debbie Sander Office of Management and Finance - Licensing Section
Suzy Delaune Office of Fisheries - Marine Fisheries Division
The Employee of the Year Award highlights overall outstanding job performances that are consistently above and beyond expectations. The winners for 2002 are:
Carol Henderson Office of Management and Finance - Human Resource Section
Fred Whitrock Office of Secretary - Legal Section
Kathy Johnson Office of Secretary - Seafood Marketing and Promotion Board
Vincent Guillory Office of Fisheries - Marine Fisheries Division
Jennifer Voisin Office of Fisheries - Marine Fisheries Division
David Moreland Office of Wildlife - Wildlife Division
Darlene Gunn Office of Wildlife - Wildlife Division
The Secretary's Award is for excellence and outstanding accomplishment in all areas of an employee's performance. The winners are:
Marianne Burke Office of Management and Finance - Public Information Section
Karen Foote Office of Fisheries - Marine Fisheries Division
