I am new to hunting (licensed and have a 12 guage Benelli Nova/pump), living in San Diego. I have been on a week-long deer hunt in So Carolina with my brother in law, so I have a little experience. Can anyone recommend a good guided hunt or hunting ranch within 3 hours of San Diego? I am very interested in turkey hunting (season starting in a few weeks), but am also interested in hog hunting (I'll need to get a rifle) as well as upland birds, coyotes and rabbits. Hopefully going on a guided hunt or to a ranch will be like a snowball to get me started on hunting more locations near San Diego. Thank you for any San Diego tips or recommendations.
Also, I have an open offer of $200 to anyone that takes me along turking hunting with them near San Diego this spring season - I have already missed last Turkey season and this last waterfowl season, so I am very interested in not missing Turkey season.

Have you looked at Big Horn Canyon Ranch? They have a website with prices. It is up in riverside. I had a couple buddies go there and I hear its a sure bet to shoot a hog, they also have exotics. From people on here and my buddies its a very easy hunt. It might be something that your looking for as I see you are just getting into hunting. If you are Military/DoD they allow you to hunt on camp pendleton and they have deer, rabbit, birds, and coyote hunting they have a website also.
